GURUVAYUR (KERALA): A 'purification' ritual was performed in the famous Guruvayur Sree Krishna temple after a British national entered it, despite his claim that he had converted to Hinduism.
The temple high priest ordered 'punyaham' to be performed after it was found that the British national had worshipped in the shrine, where 'non-Hindus' are banned. According to temple sources, the priest insisted on the ritual despite.
Though he supported his claim by showing a certificate issued by the Thiruvananthapuram branch of the Arya Samajam, the priests held that as per rules they would accept only the certificate from the Kozhikode branch of Arya Samajam in such cases.

These incident shows that people even sitting in sacred placed in India are having such a narrow minded approach.

Where in the ancient or religious hindu scipture it is mentioned that foreigner cannot enter into hindu temple???
