A 15-year-old British girl was found dead on Anjuna beach in Goa on 18th February 2008. Her family is claiming she was raped and murdered and the autopsy report confirms this.

But surprisingly the Goa police, are maintaining it that it was a case of drowning despite all the evidence.

The incident is again exposing the usual attack which are happening on foreign tourist in India.

According to the autopsy report five large bruises on her

shins, head and forearm occurred before she died.
Reports also suggest she also had sexual intercourse. According to british family Scarlet was raped and suffocated on the beach however Goa police is behaving
suspiciously and informed the british family that Scarlet had drowned and that there were no marks on her body.

It seems that the Goa police is not protecting tourists rather hiding the facts which will only hurts tourism industry in the long run and earn a bad name for India.
